The other week I started having difficulties with my G11 digital camera. So that mean for the rest of the summer I will only be shooting with my film SLR and cell phone. I will update this bi weekly but probably just weekly. If you have an instagram follow me @bobbycorns or on http://instagram.com/bobbycorns if that works. I'll get some film processed when I have the time and money.
The photo above is of my buddy Sean and I at the summit of Mt. Bross. We are hiking as many 14,000 ft. peaks as we can on Mondays, our overlapping day off. So far we are at 5.
I moved out to Colorado to work with the Forest Service for the summer. Tyler drove out with me for a long weekend trip. We have both done this drive a couple of times together before but never just the two of us. We left Cincinnati in the evening and drove up to the Harmon's to kick it with Taylor, Tesse, Clint and company. Feeling really awake, Tyler and I launched out into the midnight roads. We drove through the night taking sleep breaks and gas breaks. I was really stoked on the moon as it's setting was in sync with the sun's rise. We slept at a rest area in the plains of Colorado and woke up with the sun. With the early start we headed up Mt. Evans for an early driving send of the 14er. The highest both of us had ever been. Then we headed north to Winter Park to skate the park. We camped by a lake outside of RMNP, and got an early start the next day. In the morning we saw some moose!
We snagged a camp site near Longs Peak and walked up the 3.5 miles to Estes Cone.
Het there little buddy.
